New Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma opens June 8 June 2, 2020 The newly-constructed, $400M Emerald Queen Casino will open June 8 replacing the former EQC Tacoma I-5 Casino. A morning ceremony and tribal members will preceed the public opening scheduled for noon. For those who enjoy games of chance, the resort offers the 35,000 sq ft Royal Beach Casino – one of the largest and most luxurious Caribbean casinos. The spacious Emerald Mist Spa includes men’s and women’s saunas, hot and cold tubs, and relaxation lounges that will take you away from the bustle of.

This stunning Resort and Casino lies along 7 km’s of the lush banks of the Vaal River. It is only an hour’s drive away from Johannesburg, making it a very popular weekend getaway for locals and visitors to the surrounding area.

The Resort offers an array of restaurants, entertainment, outdoor activities and accommodation. The exciting entertainment centre offers something for each member of the family, from game drives and Animal World Zoo to the all-year round Water Park. Guests looking for a more relaxed time can make use of the African Spa.

There are 540 slots on the open floor in smoking and non-smoking sections. Slot games range from video reels to mechanical reeds and poker and bets range between 50 cents to R600. Take the N1 from Pretoria / Johannesburg. Pass through the Grasmere Toll Plaza, travel for 26 km then take the R57 Vanderbijlpark / Sasolburg off ramp. Turn left onto the R42 Vereeniging Road. Turn right at the third road - Frikkie Meyer Blvd, continue down until you reach a shopping center with a four way robot, keep left to remain on Frikkie Meyer Blvd and continue down until you reach The Emerald Resort & Casino.

Emerald Casino Opening Times Today

AUBURN, Wash. (November 8) – Emerald Downs Racetrack and Casino has announced a 63-day live racing season in 2020, with opening day Saturday, April 18 and continuing through Sunday, September 20.

The 2020 race dates were approved at the Washington Horse Racing Commission monthly meeting Friday at Auburn City Hall.

Emerald Downs Racetrack and Casino, which is owned by the Muckleshoot Tribe, will be celebrating their 25th season of racing.

Opening Day (Post time 2 pm) is the lone racing day opening weekend, followed by Saturday/Sunday racing April 25-26 and May 2-3. Friday night racing begins May 8, continuing through August.

Post times remain similar to last season: 2 pm Sundays, 6:50 pm Fridays. The first eight Saturdays, April 18 through June 6, feature a 2 pm post, while the final 15 Saturdays, June 13 though September 19, feature a 5 pm start.

Championship Sunday – featuring four stakes including the 85th Longacres Mile (G3) – is scheduled Sunday, August 9. The complete 2020 stakes schedule will be released in January.
