This casino is more than just the best casino in the entire state of Victoria. This is a full-sized entertainment complex and it is actually the largest casino southwards over the Equator. It is known internationally for being the host to the famous Aussie Millions poker tournament. An awesome place to visit, I do recommend it.

The Crown Casino is classed by many as THE casino in Australia, the one that all others are compared to, and with good reason. The largest casino in the southern hemisphere and one of the largest in the world, with over 300 table games and over 2,500 pokies you will never be short of some gaming action.
The casino is part of the Crown Casino and Entertainment Complex and is in the Southbank area of Melbourne’s CBD, making access by public transport, taxi or walking very easy. On the South of the River Yarra near the aquarium the setting is both picturesque and convenient. Guests arriving by car will find 5,000 parking spaces, with prices ranging from $6 for up to six hours to a daily maximum of $40 in the more expensive basement car park. Crown Signature Club members can receive free and discounted parking alongside many other great benefits.
In terms of gaming itself the Crown offers an experience unparalleled in Australia, with all the classic games and a wealth of poker tournaments – including the Aussie millions and World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific – as well as thousands of pokies.
Of course, befitting a casino of this size and stature the options beyond gambling are also superb, with a huge number of bars and clubs, as well as a food court and 14 premium restaurants – including Nobu – and 15 more informal dining options.
The complex also boasts three hotels and two sumptuous day spas, offering total luxury and relaxation as well as more affordable options. With a wealth of shopping options, live music, red carpet events, cinemas and a 10-pin bowling alley the options to have fun are almost limitless. The Crown is a holiday destination in itself and it is easy to see why many see it as Australia’s finest most complete casino.
